Pharmacokinetics

Pharmacodynamics 
Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, effective against many Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including a family of intestinal bacteria, bacillus influenza, etc. The mechanism of antimicrobial action is related to the influence of ribosomes and the inhibition of protein synthesis. 
Chloramphenicol eye penetrates the cell membrane of bacteria and inhibits the synthesis of RNA at 50-S ribosomes and substance inhibits protein synthesis. These effects are manifested primarily bacteriostatic effect. Habituation of microorganisms to levomitsetinu develop slowly. Has bacteriological action. 
Indications for use 
Bacterial eye infections: conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, expressions of the cornea, blepharitis, blefarokonyunktivity.
