Pharmacological properties of 
Alpha-andrenomimetik, refers to local vasoconstrictors. At low concentrations has mainly alpha2-adrenomimeticheskoe effect at high concentrations acts on alpha 1-adrenergic receptors. In the intranasal application of recommended doses is practically not absorbed and does not sisitemnogo action. It has a vasoconstrictor effect, causes local vasoconstriction of the nasal mucosa, eliminating swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nose and nasopharynx. When the local intranasal application in therapeutic doses does not irritate the mucous membranes, does not cause congestion.The action of the drug is 10-15 minutes and lasts for 10-12 hours. 
Indications for use 
Acute respiratory disease, with symptoms of rhinitis, vazomatorny rhinitis, sinusitis, otitis media (to reduce swelling of the mucous nasopharynx), prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures in the nasal passages.
